Today I ate too many nuts.

I knew it was overmuch but it made me wonder: "How many is too many?" Guess what I found. You should eat about five pieces of nuts every day. 10 at most. That´s ridiculous (I love it sooo much!) But be it.

Here´s my rule: Eat nuts for breakfast, no more nuts for a day.
Today I wanted to order my new skipping rope that had been out of stock for a really long time. Now they“re recieving pre-orders for their new UK distributor to launch the business by the start of March.

(You see, nothing special.)

I was quite happy and intended to buy one rightaway. But at the checkout, they charged me $50 just for the shipping and additional $12 tax.

So I am pretty determined to buy one here, in the Czech Rep. because 72 bucks seems a little bit too much for a skipping rope to me :)

Fresh:
So I“ve just bought this RDX speed pro skipping rope on e-bay for about $21, that“s much better, huh.

It“s been about a week since I bought this amazing interval timer to do my intensity workout at home. But still nothing...my mother recieves all the maternity stuff every day however my cute pink gymboss is still pending...

So,
I“m going to check my watch for my this week“s performance summary.

Burnt Calories: 3367 kcal = 14097 kJ (wow!)
Time: 6 hours and 22 minutes
Zone 1 (fat burning): 36% = 1212kcal/5074 kJ from my fat storage :)
Zone 2 (performance improvement): 34%
Zone 3 (god knows what): 18%
Above (fitness amok): 4%
Below (lounge): 8%

My weight: 74,1 kg/164 pounds
Sports this week: fitness (5 times), slowbody, salsa lesson, zumba, pilates (20 minutes), tennis.
Motivation: 8/10
Next week“s spotlight: abs! (= more Pilates)

Notes:
Pilates = good; tennis = bad :)
Drink more water, cook more exciting healthy recipes :)
It has been exactly two weeks since I“m working my ass off in the special fitness, Expreska ( http://www.expreska.cz ), where only women are permitted to go. Soo nice. I really like it there. There“s always a nice music (I“m talking the instructress into copying the whole playlist on my flashcard :) I even gave her the piece of my home-made nutrition bar! :D)

My fitness partner is my special sports watch, which shows me my heart rate so that I can constantly check if I“m staying inside the proper aerobic zone in which I“m burning fat (wanted). It is actually a great relax because it“s not a fight of my will to execute this exercise (unlike running: I hate the feeling when I“m fighting myself to run even further in order to not to disappoint myself.)

This is it (I have the red one) and I totally love it! I can see how many calories I burnt, how long I stayed in the desired aerobic zone ( each zone equals the interval of your heart rate; for example zone in which you burn calories is 60% - 70% of your maaximum heart rate, in my case it is about 122-145 bps.)

You would be surprised how hard it is to check on myself if I“m not working out too eagerly = my heart rate bumps high. It helps not to jump, to breath only with the nose (which is so much easier if you stay in the "lose-fat zone"), to concentrate on the exercise you“re doing right at the moment.

However I“m no fat-burning-machine. I want some exccitement and I really need to challenge myself, including my heart rate :) So I go to zumba, slow body aerobic, which has a pretty devastating effect on my biceps (feels gooooood).

Last Week I tried a salsa lesson but it really sucked. It was the instructor“s fault, she was so lame. I plan to try it again, I love the music and the high heels, too!
